Rubyrise had been dared again. She was mad, but she was going to do it this time. The Magma Pool stretched out in front of her, bubbling and spitting fire into the air. She flapped her wings, lifting off the ground slightly. She looked around to see if any one was watching. She rose higher and started to beat her wings faster.

Furious Flames saw Rubyrise flying by the Magma Pool. It looked like she was going to attempt to fly over it. He didn't say anything but he looked on.

Rubyrise turned towards the pool. She flapped hard, gaining altitude. She took off over the lake, dogging spurts of lava as they shot out of the lake. One hit her, but she kept going, trying to ignore the pain.

Furious Flames shot out of his hiding spot when she was hit "Rubyrise! Get out of there!" He shouted.
OOC: When she turns around to look at him she gets hit?

Rubyrise looked over her shoulder. "No, I was dared and I'm going to make it." She said. She was about to rise higher, but when she turned her head to look straight ahead again, a big burst of flame shot up in front of her. She veered upwards, but the swiftly cooling magma burned and hit her on the head. She was above the island when she collapsed, falling down onto the island.

"Rubyrise!" He yowled taking off and using his powerful wings to quickly get to her body. He found her with her leg in a awkward position and her head swollen and burnt. He slowly tried to get her in an over the shoulder position but failed. "Somebody help!" He roared at the top of his lungs.
OOC: Can somebody join and help me move her? I can't see Furious Flames doing that by himself.

Thicklight had been flying around the Magma Pool. He had just seen two dragons on the island in the middle of the fiery lake. One of the dragons looked as if it was trying to pick the other up. Having flown closer he saw that the two were Furious Flames and Rubyrise. Furious Flames had chosen that moment to yell. Having landed, Thicklight said, "What happened?" It appeared as if Rubyrise had been injured.

" A blast of magma" He started "To the face" He said a worried expression on his face. "Help me get her to my cave" He asked gesturing to her.

"That had to hurt." Thicklight allowed some worry to tinge his voice, probably about as worried as Furious Flames. "Yeah, we better get her to your cave on the pronto."

Rubyrise didn't move. As a matter of fact, she couldn't. She was glad that someone was helping her, but angry that she had gotten injured in the first place.

Furious Flames lifted her into the air with Thicklight's help and started towards his cave.
