BurningAmber BurningAmber laid down, eating a sheep. His belly up, he scaned the cealing as he fell tired. He just began to fall asleep as he heard his name being called. "Oh great, I wonder what she wants now." He whispered to himself as he got up from his comfty spot on the ground and looked at her. He notaced it wasn't his friend, but a different dragon, one he had never met.

Darksecret was coming into the Cave. She hadn't called the other dragons name, but sounds could sometimes be mistaken when your underground. Being one of the snappiest dragons in EarthGroup, most dragons left her alone, not that it bothered her. With no friends and no family, she slept, hunted, and did everything else alone. Now, she was walking into the second largest cave in the Caverns, and noticed a dragon that stared at her instead of walked away.

BurningAmber looked around, clearly she wasn't the one who called, but she was the only one there. Maybe I am going loco.... He thought to himself, then brushed the thought away for a new one. Who was she? "Er....Hi? I'm BurningAmber.....you are?" He asked, creeping forward a bit so she didn't think he was freaked out by her.

Darksecret almost snarled at BurningAmber. "Darksecret, why?" She asked, her voice full of pure malice. Many dragons wondered why she was always meant to them, but she was just like that. Although not hte most respected dragon in the group, she stood out in her own way.

BurningAmber gave a smile. "Ah. You're that type. Well, you got a mate?" He asked, clearly faking the whole "bad guy" thing. "Just kidding. So, I v=can play that gome, too." He said, now stepping closer to her. He examened her scales, seeing black and white, then red on the tale.

Darksecret was the kind of dragon that didn't talk much, and a shadow followed wherever she went. Rumors said that she was a destined Stray because of the secrets she kept and the places she went, and no one really knew where she came from. Now, her patience was at a minimum, and she wasn't in the mood for a fight. "Look, I'm just like this, and if you can't deal with it, then I have no idea why you even said hello." She snapped, feeling hurt. It was common for her to be called a jerk, or a 'snappy little dragon', or lizard-dung. Although it hurt her insides, she would never admit it, or show it.

BurningAmber felt deserted inside. He didn't mean to upset her. "I'm.....I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I have a strong sense of humor." He said, lowering his head so that she couldn't see his face. "I hate it when people do things like that to me, too. I guess I shouldn't."

Darksecret almost felt sorry for BurningAmber, but her pride kept her from showing it. Having won almost every battle she had fought when she was a hatchling and a fledgling had made others worried. They had made her a Hunter so that she wouldn't have power, and this infuriated her. "Then deal with it!" She hissed through bared teeth. Silently, she walked over to a far corner of the Cave and turned her back on BurningAmber.
ooc: He can still approach her... She needs a friend, but it might take him a while to be considered one by her.

OOC: K! Maybe he'll have to force her.........*evil laugh*
BIC:
BunringAmber felt the pity rising in her belly. He couldn't stand seeing a hurt soul, it made his weeken. He walked over to her. "We've all had bad days, and we've all had good ones, too. But you shouldn't take it out on others around you if you do happen to have a bad day. And we're all the same, theres no difference in you and me, accept you look a bit more prety than me, but that doesn't matter. Nothing does in the sceem of things." He said, his voice quivering, but strong. Then, he turned and hovered over to the far side of the Cave before she could reply. He hoped she would pull her act together with that piece of info he had given her.

ooc: She wouldn't let him.
ic: It only took Darksecret a few seconds to think something up. Leaping to her feet, she quickly crossed the cave and confronted BurningAmber. "I know you don't know me, but if you did you would know that I have NEVER had a good day in my life!" She snarled, the malice in her voice having been replaced by a dying fire. "Ever since my egg was laid I have been untrusted, and ever since I hatched there have been rumors about if I belong. No one is making things better for me by telling me to pull my act together, because if I did I'd be dead within a day!" She said in a low voice. No one else was to hear those words, and she was only saying them because this one dragon didn't seem to know what she was made of.

BurningAmber shook his head. "We all belong, and we all love each other. It's waht we were made to do, love, belong, and live a happy life. I trust you, I know you don't trust me, but you should, I'm nice. And if I wasn't, I wouldn't be the one telling you this, I'd be the one making fun of you!" He snarled the last few words, then stepped away from her and walked to where he was before, eating his sheep in harmony.

Darksecret shook her head. Why didn't they get it. Suddenly, she decided to do what she had only done once before. Slowly this time, she went over to BurningAmber and sat down. "I'm sorry..." She said, only loud enough for him to hear. With her head bowed, she continued. "And I think you are wrong. If we were made to love, belong, and live happily, then I'm not a dragon. You shouldn't trust me, nobody does, and being my friend won't do you any good." She said. Her voice still had fire in it, but not the malice it had had to begin with.

BurningAmber kept his head down, so she could not see his face. "At least give me a chance? You could be loved some day. Just give me a chance, and if I fail, I swear. You I'll hunt for you the rest of my life. Please, you will be loved." He said, now looking up from his sheep. "I could love you......just one chance?" He whispered, half to himself, half to her.

Darksecret looked at him, a small spark of malice in her eyes. "I'm telling you, this won't work. But I will give you a chance for now." She said, looking away from him and around the cave. If anyone caught her talking to another dragon, new rumors would spread, probably about how she was poisoning the mind of an innocent dragon to take over EarthGroup.

Burningmber looks back at her, his eyes seemed to say everything. "Thank you. I promise, I won't hurt you. I'll just break that shell you have covering the beauty and compassion you have right in here." He pointed at her heart, knowing he was going to die for that move, but what the heck, she gave him a chance, that was all he needed.
