RedWing slowly flew around the highest mountain, the soft whooshing of his wings the only noise disturbing the silence. He slowly spiralled to the peak of the mountain, and surveyed the land below. It was beautiful. There were lush fruits growing on trees, deer springing over bushes, and the sun setting over the horizon set an eerie glow over the landscape. RedWing loved his home and never wanted to leave, but it often got lonely. He was a stray, but he had still not grown accustomed to the loneliness. He began the descent of the mountain, his claws scrabbling at the gravely rock face. The last part of the descent, he flapped his wings and drifted to the springy grass which grew next to the lake. He bent his head and took great gulps of water, then lay down and contently shut his eyes.
