As Furious Flames helped the centaur, Rubyrise sniffed the air and turned her head from side to side so as to pick up more sound. A twang. A swish. And then an arrow was sprouting from the rock wall behind her. "Furious Flames! Look!" She said, ducking another arrow as it made for her eyes. The humanoids were everywhere, carrying centaur heads as trophies and goods from raids and even centaur tail decorative plumes.

"Holy!" Cried Furious Flames as the creatures appeared from the raised cliffs, surrounding the village. An arrow hit the wounded Centaur, causing Him to fall to the ground, mouth spurting from His mouth. "Ugh!" Cried Furious Flames ducking from a small rain of arrows. The dragon could smell the taint of poison on the arrows, the poison very deadly and quick working. "Quickly in here!" Furious Flames beckoned Rubyrise into a small wooden Centaur hut. He could hear the impact of arrows outside, still firing at the Female battler. "Hurry!" He cried. He searched around the hut, finding a few beds, a small herb garden, and a small weapon rack. The weapons included a small staff, a large bow, and various swords. "Worthless" Sighed Furious Flames, not noticing the white flower right under His nose.

ooc: Thats a big centaur hut, lol.
ic: Rubyrise followed Furious Flames, but right as she was entering one of the arrows hit her blood colored scales and harmlessly bounced off, cracking. With a roar, the female battler turned around, the force of her tail making some of the creatures fly before becoming nothing but a splat on the wall. A blast of fire incinerated quite a few others, but then the arrows came raining down more fiercely and she was forced to retreat. Inside the hut, the dragoness was forced to bow down, for it was made for centaurs (and partys by the looks of it). "Hey, thats a pretty flower." She said, having spotted the little white daisy accented with a red dot at its center.

"Hmm?" Asked Furious Flames, twisting His head around to knock His head on the lower part of the entrance wall. He looked at His feet and saw a little white flower with a pinch of red in the center. Suddenly visions flooded into His head, the flower was one of them. He plucked it from the patch, along with a several more that were about half it's size. "Lets go" He mumbled "I smell evil" He hurried out of the hut, sprinting for the tunnels, dodging a few arrows, one making its mark yet bouncing off. He had been lucky it missed His bare flesh.

Rubyrise stuck her head out of the hut, and was greeted by cascading arrows from above and both sides. Quickly her blood red head drew back and she listened with satisfaction as some of the arrows killed their own brethren and craftsmen. Keeping low to the ground so as to shield her soft underbelly, by far the only vulnerable part on her whole body, the she-dragon slithered from the small hut, following Furious Flames. Soon the two were away from the village and back in the tunnels, risking a sigh of relief.

"Let us go and warn the others!" He breathed, crouching down to regain His energy. He wasn't used to battle or running so hard and fast, it had made Him realize how He also needed to train and learn His herb techniques. The two dragons quickly made their way through the tunnels, exiting into the small lake complex within minutes. "What were they?" Asked Furious Flames looking at Rubyrise. "They didn't smell of Humans"

Rubyrise, turning her head this way and that to make sure she wasn't injured by any arrows, shrugged at the question. "My guess is that they were just some sort of ugly human." She said, finding a scratch caused by a sword and plunging into the lake so as to keep it clean.
