For those of you who don't know what RPing is.
Basically RPing stands for 'Role Playing' - which means to take a role of a character/characters.
In a nutshell it covers 2 school subjects:
English - For the descriptive writing, and other complicated communication
and, Drama - For use of dramatic affect, and the abbilaty to adapt to a characters feelings.

On this RP site, once you have made a character, you go to an IC (in conversation) thread, and try to fit in to the story - or just make your own thread.
When RPing you have to take note that different behaviour towards different characters does NOT affect the user. Do not get upset if one character is mean to your one, for example.
In IC you are required to use proper English. This means no slang, no other languages, good gramar/spelling etc. Please, also, make them descriptive. Post consisting of 1-2 sentences, without reason, are not looked kindly upon by us staff!!!
ALL RPing is in third person (He/She/It - rather than I, or You) - otherwise the plot will just be hard to undertand, and will not be a good aspect of this site
During and IC thread you may include an OOC section to your post. Here you can quickly discuss what is going to happen next, or alert other players about things.
Also - NO OOC POSTS!!! Only include OOC to a post that also includes IC - otherwise it will be deleted, or have to be modified.
DO NOT REVIVE DEAD THREADS!!! This means don't post in a clearly finished thread - or an abandoned thread which has had about 1 month of inactiveness.
A single dragon, surprisingly
, CANNOT be in 2 places at once. Since the site is currently (27/02/09) very inactive, there is an exception. But as members start to increase to about 30-50 then we shall expect for this rule to remain in its proper place!
DO NOT powerplay anyone elses character. This means clearly stating in a post that someone elses character does something, when the owner hadn't said that their character had.
DO NOT kill, or badly injure anyones character without permission. When in combat give the other person a chance to dodge or prepare (eg. Dragon 1 nealt back on his back feet, and proceeded to falling forward towards the ground). Also, please ask for permission before killing a character. If the owner doesn't approve, but you persist with killing them - it shall NOT count as a kill.
Please DO NOT use smilies in IC. It just doesn't fit into the whole reality of the 'third person, consisting of only text' rule. We understand if it was accidental (like using 3 question marks =
), and are the only acceptions.

Then, there is also OOC (out of conversation) threads. These do NOT have to relate to anything about this site - just make sure that they are in the appropriate section!
In OOC you are not asked to have all the proper English skills as stated in the IC bit, but we still advise you to make sense. If someone doesn't understand you its no good!!!

In both IC and OOC you are NOT allowed to swear or flame (even if insults are 'bleeped' out). Frequent swearers are banned.
(flame means bully another player personaly, by the way)
Also no double posting in either! This means posting 2 or more times in a row without anyone's post inbetween. You won't be banned for it - but you deffinately won't get a good reputation!!!
